How Adaptive is Your Leadership?

This year I have been developing a year-long round table series for senior leaders. I just returned from delivering one of these sessions in Europe; a session on Mastering Adaptive Leadership.
The type of investment you fund for your leadership team greatly influences how your team will grow and how you will scale yourself.
Why does investing time and energy into your leadership team ensure you scale in your own role?
Because your team will:
- develop better habits faster and with greater precision when an adaptive challenge surfaces
- have more tools to wade through people management ambiguity
- have a more consistent approach to discussing talent during review periods
Those skills are nuanced and take time to learn. They are also three of the most time-consuming to teach as a leader. Don’t you want to speed up the process, spend time on discussing critical business challenges, and know that leadership development on your team is heading in the right direction?
Then invest.
Invest in order to:
1. Show your team that adapting their leadership is crucial to be successful
2. Provide them with additional language and tools to talk about people leadership that doesn’t rely on only your 1:1 coaching
3. Create opportunities for micro-inclusion for your entire organization
